IM SO SICK AND TIRED OF THIS!Education is a must.. but why must it be a torture.
Perhaps it is not the system, the fault lies in us not confining to it. Then, get a life somewhr else!
Yeah right, they dont allow you to migrate to other countries, because they would think that u're escaping from the compulsory NS. It's weird now because I would rather faster time to go to NS than to suffer my life here. As if i will use all these knowledge. I kinda miss Ms Neo. Patsy Neo. She's like my favourite teacher alr, apart from Ms Hayati(pri 4 form teacher). LOL somehow this entry is getting childish?!
Why i miss her? It's because she can relate to her students, and she really dont give her students up, even if her students dont do well. Like are there any teachers like that here? Maybe there are, i haven met one. It is because she understands her students, she have been thru a bad one herself. You see, if u have never been a bad student urself, you cant be a very good teacher yourself (and this applies not only to school-based content). What I mean is like, sugar is not sweet unless u taste the salt. Most teachers just teach what needs to be taught, rushing thru the syllabus and trying to give more and more homework, so we slought our life wit the meaningless notes. Come to think about it, shows like Campus Superstar really helps to develop a person. Not everyone is cut out to be a Engineer, Mathematician, Scientist, Doctor, etc. There are people out there who are more talented in their singing, drawing and other fastastic skills. But, do they make singing or other potential talents as a compulsory subject? Instead of developing talents, developing the brain's memory space seems more important. And, why do the teachers think that CCAs are a waste of time. Stop complaining that CCAs affect our results and that they take up most of our time. Like HELLO!? Who is the one taking up our time, from 7.30 to 5? CCAs is only after lesson time. It's CCA, co-curriculum activity, already long ago not EXTRA curriculum activity. You can give us homework, but stop complaining like a baby already because CCAs dont give us homework. More like the lesson time is too long for us to do our homework. We do need a life, and i dont mean squeezing in an hour of watching DA CHANG JIN and eating dinner at the same time, while the rest of the time mugging. Teachers claim to be busier, do they?
Ok enough ranting, im always ranting. But when can i ever stop wit this haunting mi?
On a lighter note, I bought N70!! My mum kept pestering mi to buy, finally her wish is fulfilled.lol.
And thanks for the joy im getting in band. I really treasure the remaining time left. And I hope my juniors can start growing up, esp that taiwanese-accented Hsiang Yin, always playing wit brooms
